Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Coordinate payroll processing and tax compliance for Oregon-based businesses
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex inter-company transactions
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly and annual audits
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query)
- Strong knowledge of Oregon tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines with zero errors
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Experience with nonprofit and for-profit accounting systems
- Exceptional communication skills for client relationship management
