Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Bookkeeper to join our elite finance team at Apex Financial Solutions. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and tax preparation schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal control policies.
- Process payroll transactions and manage employee expense reports.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
