Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and KPI reporting
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for 500+ client transactions
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and year-end preparations
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel with VLOOKUP expertise
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios with 100% audit accuracy
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in reconciling complex accounts
- Experience with sales tax filings across multiple states
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client consultations
