Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ healthcare providers using Epic EMR systems
- Analyze and resolve complex billing discrepancies with 99% accuracy rate
- Oversee AR aging reports and implement collection strategies for high-value accounts
- Collaborate with compliance team to ensure HIPAA and CMS regulation adherence
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system updates
- Generate monthly revenue cycle analytics for executive leadership
- Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve claim denials within 48 hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare billing experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential required
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and UB-04 claim processing
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table functions
- Demonstrated success in reducing DSO by 15%+ in previous roles
