Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for diverse healthcare portfolios
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and discrepancies
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and audit readiness documentation
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and software
- Stay updated on CMS and payer policy changes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a US healthcare setting
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or similar EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Proven track record in reducing AR days
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
