Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing cycles including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through insurance appeals and client communication
- Generate monthly revenue reports and analyze billing performance metrics
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding compliance
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient financial records and billing documentation
- Train junior staff on billing systems and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding knowledge
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR/billing platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in revenue cycle management
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) preferred
- Excellent communication skills for resolving complex billing issues
- Ability to manage high-volume billing processes with 99% accuracy
