Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for high-volume client accounts using SAP and Oracle systems
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through meticulous research and stakeholder collaboration
- Oversee accounts receivable aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Ensure HIPAA and SOX compliance for all billing documentation
- Train junior staff on billing procedures and system best practices
- Analyze billing data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with sales and finance teams to resolve billing-related disputes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in medical or commercial billing with SAP proficiency
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent certification
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex billing disputes
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management principles
- Experience with multi-state billing regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
