- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and rejections within SLAs
- Conduct regular audits of billing codes (CPT/ICD-10) for accuracy
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports for leadership
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Train junior billing staff on system protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of CMS and commercial payer policies
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts with 98% accuracy
