Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing cycles for 200+ daily patient encounters
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials within 48 hours
- Conduct monthly audits for CPT/ICD-10 code compliance
- Collaborate with providers to optimize charge capture accuracy
- Oversee AR aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Train new staff on Epic EMR billing workflows
- Prepare monthly revenue cycle performance dashboards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in hospital/clinic settings
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A credential required
- Expertise in Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial billing regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Medisoft systems
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving
- Excellent written communication for insurance negotiations
- Ability to maintain 98% billing accuracy under high volume
