Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex medical/insurance claims with 99.5% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with insurance providers to claim denials and appeals
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and compliance standards
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS regulation adherence in all billing processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with ICD-10/CPT coding knowledge
- Proficiency in Epic Systems or similar healthcare billing platforms
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP expertise
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency required
