Responsibilities
- Analyze and process incoming invoices and billing statements with high accuracy.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and resolve patient/provider inquiries promptly.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Maintain and update billing records in the company database.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and reduce denials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or medical revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
