Responsibilities
- Process insurance claims and patient invoices with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with insurance providers
- Generate monthly revenue reports and aging accounts receivable analysis
- Update and maintain billing systems with CPT/ICD-10 code compliance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture completeness
- Conduct patient billing education and payment plan negotiations
- Audit billing documentation for HIPAA and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing systems
- Expert knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance protocols
- Proven ability to resolve complex claim denials and underpayments
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with revenue cycle management analytics
