Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate insurance claims for medical services
- Review EOBs and patient statements to identify billing discrepancies
- Manage accounts receivable collections and follow-up on unpaid invoices
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing-related issues
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial analytics
- Update and maintain patient billing records in Epic EMR system
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Proficient in medical billing software (Epic, NextGen, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
