Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes for assigned client portfolios
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through insurance verification and claim appeals
- Analyze aging reports and develop strategies to reduce accounts receivable days
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance in all billing documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document services accurately
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system updates
- Generate monthly financial reports for stakeholder review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expertise in CPT/HCPCS coding and ICD-10 diagnosis codes
- Advanced proficiency in Epic, Athena, or similar EMR systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Experience with claim denial resolution and appeals processes
- Proven ability to meet monthly revenue targets
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
