Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing operations for 200+ healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Process complex insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy rate and resolve denials within 48 hours
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and resolve discrepancies exceeding $10,000
- Collaborate with coding teams to ensure CPT/ICD-10 compliance and optimal reimbursement
- Generate monthly revenue reports and analyze billing trends for executive leadership
- Train junior staff on billing systems and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare billing experience with EMR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) required
- Expertise in Virginia Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and billing software (e.g., Athena, eClinicalWorks)
- Strong analytical skills with experience resolving complex claim denials
- Exceptional communication abilities for client consultations and team collaboration
