Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end AP processing for 500+ vendors using SAP and Oracle systems
- Oversee month-end closing activities including reconciliations and accruals
- Lead vendor relationship management and dispute resolution initiatives
- Implement process improvements reducing invoice processing time by 30%
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Train and mentor junior AP team members on best practices
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume AP experience with ERP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Proven track record of implementing AP automation solutions
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
