Responsibilities
- Process and verify 150+ invoices weekly with 99.8% accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Manage payment cycles including check runs and ACH transactions
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contract terms and payment terms
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all AP documentation
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting processes
- Implement process improvements using AP automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle AP experience in mid-sized companies
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Proven track record in reducing invoice processing time by 30%
- Excellent communication skills for vendor negotiations
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) designation preferred
