Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure timely payments through ERP systems
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers and resolve discrepancies
- Manage 1099 vendor documentation and tax compliance
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor payment terms and discounts
- Implement automation tools to enhance AP efficiency
- Conduct month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Support internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
