Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing for 500+ vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor payment terms
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
- Mentor junior AP team members
- Analyze payment trends for cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- SAP or Oracle ERP system expertise
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with high-volume processing (200+ invoices/month)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
