Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize AP workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment inquiries and disputes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Lead month-end closing activities and financial reporting support
- Mentor junior AP staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- AP or CMA certification highly desirable
