Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and completeness in line with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or queries promptly.
- Manage the AP mailbox and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Assist in the month-end close process, including accruals and prepayments.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for data entry and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of the AP ledger to prevent errors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role within the UK (minimum 3 years).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
