Responsibilities
- Process and code high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently using our accounting software.
- Manage the full invoice-to-pay cycle, from receipt to payment authorization.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis and resolve any discrepancies or queries.
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs via BACS and foreign payments.
- Maintain accurate vendor master records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent AAT qualification).
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an Accounts Payable role within the UK.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Sage 50 or Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders.
