Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
- Manage vendor relations, including resolving discrepancies and answering inquiries.
- Perform month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) to manage financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all AP transactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and AP software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in an urgent environment.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
