Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing for 100+ employees with bi-weekly pay cycles
- Coordinate annual audits and maintain SOX compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and Excel automation
- Mentor junior accountants and lead cross-departmental financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance expertise
- Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
