Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will include managing the full cycle of accounting, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve cash flow management and forecasting.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting software and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
