Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure full compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC tax regulations.
- Oversee bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and credit control.
- Assist in the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide strategic financial advice to management to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or part-qualified with significant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience in month-end close procedures and variance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
