Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and year-end VAT returns to HMRC.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform regular audits of financial records and provide detailed reporting.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA accountant.
- Strong working knowledge of Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience in VAT returns and corporation tax filings.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
