Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee the weekly payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payments for all employees.
- Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls within the accounting software (Sage/Xero).
- Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or part-qualified with significant experience.
- Proven experience in UK accounting, tax, and compliance.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent knowledge of VAT, Corporation Tax, and PAYE regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
