We are looking for a professional who can handle complex financial reporting and manage a diverse portfolio of clients with ease.
Responsibilities
- Manage Monthly Accounts: Prepare and reconcile trial balances, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Financial Reporting: Produce accurate financial statements for stakeholders and management.
- VAT & Tax Compliance: Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.
- Payroll Oversight: Assist in the monthly payroll process for our client base.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for client account queries.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows.
Qualifications
- Qualifications: Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or part-qualified with substantial experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a similar senior accounting role.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- UK Taxation: Deep understanding of UK tax laws and HMRC regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail in financial data analysis.
