Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP.
- Oversee the weekly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with HMRC regulations and tax laws.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for senior management.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or AAT qualified (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Proven experience as an Accountant within the UK financial sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks).
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
