Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely posting of journal entries.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and tax return packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor management and client invoicing.
- Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- CPA certification or completion of CPA exams is a significant plus.
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
