Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for strategic planning
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies for compliance
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants and cross-functional teams
- Support CFO with special projects and financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of Florida tax regulations and compliance
