Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements with attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes using Xero and Sage software
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and year-end audits
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support budget forecasting and financial modelling initiatives
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadline adherence
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Experience with UK GAAP and HMRC compliance
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving aptitude
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of meeting financial reporting deadlines
