Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Provide financial insights to senior leadership for strategic planning
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in UK financial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel
- Demonstrated experience with payroll processing and VAT returns
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Proven track record in improving financial processes
