Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements for corporate clients
- Manage VAT returns and HMRC compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement systems
- Conduct forensic audits for corporate restructuring projects
- Implement and optimise Xero and QuickBooks automation workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
- Lead financial due diligence for M&A transactions
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent international certification
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in practice or industry
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with Power Query and VBA
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and international financial reporting standards
- Proven experience managing client relationships and stakeholder communication
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) preferred
