Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate postings.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to GAAP and internal control policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active candidate status.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
- Must be available to work weekends (typically Friday to Sunday) on a rotational basis.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
