Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Lead the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and local tax filings and audits.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and government regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
