Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and operational metrics to identify growth opportunities and risk factors
- Develop sophisticated financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Prepare executive dashboards and investor presentations translating complex data into compelling narratives
- Lead cross-functional budgeting and forecasting processes for 15+ business units
- Conduct due diligence for M&A transactions and partnership evaluations
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in energy or commodities sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query) and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of oil & gas industry dynamics and commodity markets
- Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
