Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and conduct variance analysis for management review.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax teams to facilitate seamless audits and tax filings.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate revenue recognition.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
