Urgent Hiring Opportunity: Apex Financial Group is currently seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team. We are expanding our operations and looking for a dedicated professional who is ready to make an immediate impact. This role requires flexibility, as we are open to candidates based in the UK or those willing to relocate to our satellite office in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and US GAAP standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for the North American division.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Oversee the payroll process for UK staff and coordinate with US payroll providers for California-based employees.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a multi-national corporation.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax laws, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to San Jose, CA to support office operations.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
