Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform complex account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in external audits and internal controls testing to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Budget Management: Support the budget preparation process and monitor variances against financial forecasts.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the finance department to increase efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (CPA/MBA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to manage large volumes of data with high precision and integrity.
