Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgeting and variance analysis for department heads.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits of financial processes to identify risks and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
