Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements and management accounts.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies.
- Assist with external audit preparations and liaise with auditors.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a UK-based firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
