Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, resolving variances and discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform comprehensive financial reconciliations of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Conduct internal audits to improve operational efficiency and safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- 3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
