Your Role
You will be the backbone of our accounting department, ensuring our financial health is robust and transparent.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- General Ledger: Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting workflows and internal controls.
- Payroll & Tax: Assist in payroll processing and prepare quarterly tax filings and local business tax returns.
- Budgeting: Support the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO and external auditors during year-end audits.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
