Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to budget, forecast, and report on company performance.
- Process payroll and manage general ledger entries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
