Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and submit accurate financial statements to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and implement recommendations
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state taxation and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- U.S. work authorization required
