Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee VAT returns, tax compliance, and HMRC submissions with zero-error tolerance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for 5+ business units
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining 100% audit-ready documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent with 4+ years post-qualification experience
- Expert proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel (PivotTables/VBA)
- Proven track record of managing complex multi-currency transactions
- Exceptional attention to detail with documented history of audit success
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and KPI reporting
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
