Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements
- Manage general ledger operations and account reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified)
- Minimum 5 years UK accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and SAP
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VBA
- Experience in multinational corporate accounting
