Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports to support executive decision-making.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns, ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable to maintain fiscal health.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification or equivalent advanced degree is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
